Welcome Students!

This year, we will be incorporating more technology into our music education. This blog will serve as the go-to for all of your questions: calendar, homework, websites, etc. Always check here as Mrs. Root and Mrs. White will be updating it often. If you have any questions, you can email either one of us at any time or see us in class. We are very excited about this new addition and feel that it will be a VERY useful tool for us!

Here’s to a great year!!!

Vocal Music Handbook

You can download our Vocal Music Handbook as well as the Vocal Music Contract in case you’ve misplaced it. Please be sure to turn it in to Mrs. Root or Mrs. White as soon as possible!

A “Thank you” from Lumberjack:

The Choir group was great, delightful and enjoyed by all! Thanks so much!  I could have just stood there and listened!!  Santa mentioned it also; he thought it was a nice touch that you were at the gate when he came through. We had some of our customers tell us that they enjoyed you also!

State Honors Choir

Congratulations to the following students who successfully auditioned for MSVMA State Honors Choir!  They will perform in Grand Rapids at the Michigan Music Conference in January.  We are SO proud of all who auditioned!!!

with rise up the sopranos need more vowel announciation they sound very good in forming them but not pronouncing them enough to hear the whole piece and understand each word.
I love the in remembrance piece we all sound very good we blended good and especially in the circled flight and the stars that shine at night we did a very good job on creshendoing and decroshendoing.
but i d o have one bad comment on the hallelujah chorus we clashed in the beginning and we need to know when we start and what note also it sounds like we are trying to shout more than sing so it makes it sound like your trying way to hard to push the note out.
